Jewellery Care & Warranty
Care
All Sueet pieces are crafted with 18k gold-plated stainless steel. However, with natural wear and exposure to everyday elements, the gold plating will wear down to a paler shade of gold, closer to its stainless steel base.
To prolong the life of your Sueet piece(s):
- Remove when swimming, exercising, in saunas, showering, and sleeping.
- Remove when using harsh chemicals, detergents, and oils to avoid damage and discolouration to your jewellery.
- Avoid contact with perfumes, deodorants, lotions, sanitisers, and hair products.
Cleaning
Gently clean your Sueet piece(s) with a soft, non-abrasive, and lint-free cloth or a special gold-polishing cloth. If needed, use warm water with a very mild liquid soap to remove any dirt, then thoroughly rinse with clean, warm water and pat dry with a soft cloth. Any soap that is left can dull your jewellery; ensure all soap is washed away with clean, warm water.
Avoid using abrasive jewellery cleaners, as these contain harsh chemicals that can tarnish the gold plating. Rubbing your jewellery too hard may also cause a loss of gold plating.
Storage
- Store in a cool, dry place that is out of direct sunlight.
- Always store your Sueet pieces individually so that they do not scratch, tangle, or rub together.
- Keep any necklace or bracelet chains fastened so that they do not become tangled.
- Each Sueet piece comes with its own jewellery pouch, which is a great way to store and protect your pieces when travelling.
Warranty
All Sueet piece(s) come with a 3-month warranty. This warranty is effective from the date of purchase and covers any manufacturing faults or loss of any set gemstones or cubic zirconia in jewellery. This warranty does not cover customer wear and tear, as it is not considered a manufacturing fault. General wear and tear can include, but is not limited to, the fading of plated jewellery, scratches, and dents and, therefore, is not covered by warranty. Sueet is not held responsible for the loss of your jewellery and cannot deem an item faulty that cannot be assessed. Any repairs requested after the offered 3-month warranty period will require a repair fee, and return postage costs will fall under the responsibility of the customer.
If your Sueet piece(s) arrive faulty, we are more than happy to offer a repair, full refund, or exchange by the following process:
- Email our team at support@sueet.com.au with your order number, full name, and email address associated with the order.
- Attach clear photo and/or video evidence of the manufacturing fault or loss of any set gemstones or cubic zirconia.
- Jewellery must meet our manufacturing fault requirements (detailed above) and be purchased within the offered 3-month warranty period to be able to claim.
- Our team will respond to your claim within 5 business days.
- If our team has deemed your jewellery to be a manufacturing fault, we will provide a free return shipping label for you to post the jewellery back to us.
